Small business week feature - Bulldog Fitness
Our country is made of lots of small and this week is small business week in Canada. Each day we will be featuring a small, local business that we want to share with you.
The first business I was to feature is Guelph’s Bulldog fitness. It is located at 259 Grange rd in the plaza at Grange and Victoria. Bulldog fitness is more than a gym for kids it is a place where kids can get excited about being active.
They offer before and after school care, pd camps and amazing March break, holiday summer camps. Their summer camps have a theme each week, special guests and special trips.
The offer activity nights where kids get games, activities, dinner and a movie while mommy and daddy can go out.
They have just started an amazing kindergarten readiness program. This program is in the morning, one morning a week for kids 2.5 and above. The ratios are 5:1 and it is an incredible stepping stones for kids who will be going to the school in the near future.
Bulldog works with other companies to offer specialty classes – they are offering cooking classes for kids and adult with Fourchette Academy, they are offering a mommy and baby workout class with WTF fitness.
The offer evening programs for kids of all ages as well. There is a program for kids 4-6 to learn the importance of physical activity. The Pups program!
Playing and Understanding Physical Activity and Sports (P.U.P.S)
For kids 5-15 there is ball hockey, dodge ball and more.
And the also host birthday parties! Who wouldn’t want their active kids to run around their huge facility and spend some much needed energy. You get a party room and your party gets to take part in all of the fun!
If you have not seen Bulldog yet it is worth the time to drop in and check it out. We will be hosting our Halloween party on the 31st at this great venue.
